“The Party’s Over” emerged through his early music projects in the 1980s and could be spotted all over the Lower East Side.
Over time, it evolved into a powerful symbol of resistance against gentrification, police brutality, corporate influence, and in support of environmentalism. For this exhibition, Missing presents a collection of sixteen paintings measuring 22” x 30” and two large-scale works at 50” x 65”.
